Please Say Something
Please Say Something is the animation that won Animadrid 2009 (The International Festival of the Animated Image of Pozuelo de Alarcón-Community of Madrid in Spain). Before that, it also won the Golden Bear for best short at the 2009 Berlinale. Made by Irish artist David O'Reilly, it featured the troubled realtionship between a Cat and a Mouse. Set in what looks like a Japanese inspired future, it is somehow sweet and bitter at the same time, beautiful and ugly, funny and sad.
According to the author, "the final film was completed in January 2009 and contains 23 episodes of exactly 25 seconds each". Once you start watching it, you want to see where it takes you.
